Vocal Music and Guitar

Alison sings, plays guitar, and leads instrument play with children ages birth to 5th grade. She offers this during Sunday Studio, worship services, and retreats.  

Her music background includes: choral, Early and Baroque, singer-songwriter compositions, folk/bluegrass, Sanskrit and Latin chant, and contemporary music. She has been singing for over thirty years in choirs and music groups including: First Presbyterian Church, Fullerton Children and Youth Choirs, UCSB Collegiate Chorale, Coro di San Daniele (Padua, Italy), Renaissance Choir (University of St. Andrews, Scotland), Schola Cantorum at the National Shrine of St. Francis (San Francisco), and Calvary Chancel Choir. Alison is learning banjo and violin and continuing piano practice.

Dance

Alison dances for church settings, as well as celebrations and improvisational groups. Her dance background includes: jazz, ballet, and improvisation through InterPlay. She believes that dance has a place in schools, churches, birthing rooms, family gatherings and anywhere people want to express and connect with each other. She has danced for Calvary Presbyterian Church, Noe Valley Ministry, and Seventh Avenue Presbyterian Church services.
